For the 2025-2026 academic year, the Apple Dining Hall will be open for breakfast from 7:00 am - 09:30 am; lunch from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm; and dinner from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, the dining room will be open with salad bar, premade sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and made-to-order grill options. Weekends: Brunch: 10 am-2 pm and Dinner: 5 pm-8 pm.

The to-go boxes can be purchased for a one-time payment of $10.00 at the cashier’s station in the Apple Dining Hall. The boxes provide a takeout option for people who cannot or don’t want to eat in the dining hall. A clean container is required for each visit; we will swap the container for a clean one when you bring it to the cashier’s station.

On the weekends, we open at 10:00 am for breakfast, and at 11:00 am we add lunch items from the grill, the plant-based station, Simple Servings, pizza, and pasta. Brunch on the weekends allows us to offer a fun variety during times of reduced demand.

Meal exchange is a meal received outside of the dining hall that is included in your meal plan swipe. There is a specific menu of items for meal exchanges in our retail locations (The Hub, Frothy Monkey, and Starbucks).

The Premium Access meal plan has two meal exchanges per day, the All Access meal plan has one meal exchange, and the Limited Access plan has one meal exchange per day.

Trevecca Dining has a full time Registered Dietitian to navigate your best dining options on campus. Apple Dining Hall Hall featured Simple Servings and Made without Gluten Counter, which offers a complete meal made without shellfish, soy, milk, peanut, tree nut, sesame, wheat, egg, and gluten. Simple Servings was developed to address the growing number of students who arrive on college campuses with special dietary needs. Simple Servings' plain and simple wellness-promoting foods also appeal to guests who are focused on ingredients, nutritional value or portion sizes for weight control, blood sugar control or other health reasons. We also have a plant-based station that accommodates vegetarian and vegan diets. Please contact Amanda Ceglarz MS, LD, RD at amanda.ceglarz@sodexo.com for a nutrition consultation for navigating dining on campus.

We may request additional medical documentation to enable us to develop more specific meal plan accommodation. In this situation, we ask that the student register with the Associate Dean of Student Success and/or Coordinator of Student Disability Services, disabilityservices@trevecca.edu. Together, our departments work to serve our students with medical needs related to dining on campus. For more information about dining accommodations, please fill out the Disability Services Intake Form to start the process.

Yes, and we encourage it. Guests can pay the line rate for themselves, or the student can pay with Dining Dollars at the register.

Each meal plan provides the student with a defined amount of Dining Dollars. Dining Dollars can be used to pay for guests at all locations on campus (Apple Dining Hall, Starbucks, Frothy Monkey, and the HUB). Students can also use their Dining Dollars for personal purchases at these same retail venues and the store located at The Hub.

Depending on the meal plan: Premium Access Meal Plan can use unlimited swipes per week, limited to every 30 minutes. Yes, Trevecca Dining works with the Trevecca Urban Farm to incorporate ingredients grown on campus. We also compost food waste campaign with Trevecca Urban Farm to repurpose the food waste to grow more food. The Green To-Go Box program replaces Styrofoam single-use containers. There are no Styrofoam or straws in the dining hall, recycled napkins are purchased, and all fryer oil and grease are recycled for use in biodiesel and other application.

Students with food allergies or intolerances are encouraged to inform the Trevecca Dining Services staff of their condition so that appropriate measures can be taken to ensure their safety and well-being. All menu items will be labeled with top nine allergen to help students with allergies make informed choices about their food. If a student needs clarification about an item's ingredients or allergens, they should ask a Trevecca Student Dining staff member for assistance.

The Trevecca Dining Services staff will take precautions to avoid cross-contact of allergens. This may include separate cooking utensils, preparation areas, and storage spaces for foods that contain common allergens. Apple Dining Hall is not a nut-free facility and does use peanuts and tree nuts on common equipment. While efforts are made to eliminate cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee any item free from allergens or gluten. Simple Servings is a designated station made without the top 8 of 9 allergens and gluten for lunch and dinner meals daily, separated from other food preparation and service to avoid cross-contact.

Trevecca Dining Services staff will follow emergency protocols. Staff members are trained upon hire and semi-annually to recognize the signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction, including calling 9-1-1 and campus security. The Trevecca Dining Services Food Emergency Policy and Restricted Allergen Policy are on file and available to review upon request from a Dining Hall Manager.

Students with food allergies are responsible for informing the Trevecca Dining Services staff of their condition and making appropriate food choices. Students should carry any necessary medication, such as an EpiPen or Neffy, and inform their roommates, friends, and professors about their allergies in an emergency.
